The Parts

I recycled defunct low voltage landscape lights and wood from a piano frame. The black and white paint were leftover from some other projects. I had to buy some threaded rod, nuts, and washers. Total cost: about $8.

I first painted it white, masked off the white keys, then sprayed it black.
